This selection of clips explores the enduring ideal of service in American life, and how the most diverse population of the 18th century came together and did their part to form a nation.

 

Following the screening, guests are invited to stay to learn 10 things you probably didn’t know about New Hampshire’s role in the American Revolution with Mary Adams from the New Hampshire Historical Society, followed by a brief, moderated discussion. This event offers an opportunity to connect national events with our own history right here in the Granite State.

The event will include a marketplace of Palestinian art and crafts, olive oil from the West Bank, books and information. Documentarian Louis Theroux has returned to Palestine to take a deep look at how the settlements have expanded since his film 14 years ago. That film, The Ultra Zionists, concerned a clutch of Jewish people who – propelled by religious nationalism – were infringing on international law by building their homes in Palestinian territory. But, 14 years on, he has returned to find that the settlements have accelerated. The settler ideology has found itself gaining political traction. What was fringe has now become mainstream.

Red River Theatres currently does not require guests to wear masks but we strongly recommend them while visiting the theater. Masks will be available at the entrance for anyone that wants one. We ask that guests who are experiencing any symptoms such as a cough, fever/chills, sore throat etc. stay home.
