After decades of marriage, Beth (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), a popular writer, and Don (Tobias Menzies), a well-liked therapist, appear to be a loving, supportive couple. But Beth is truly devastated to overhear that Don has been lying about his positive reaction to her latest book (and previous work) and begins to question the honesty of their entire relationship. Here’s a warm-hearted, often hilarious comedy with expertly sketched characters who portray with great affection the ways they hide the truth from each other out of love.
