Willy Wonka (Timothee Chalamet) is a young, eccentric chocolatier who challenges a powerful Chocolate Cartel in order to open his own unique business. He succeeds in wondrous fashion, becoming the world’s greatest inventor, magician and genius chocolate maker (with an assist from the Oompa Loompas). Co-writer/director Paul King concocts a delightful musical fantasy (with original songs by Neil Hannon) featuring a fabulous cast which includes Olivia Colman, Hugh Grant, Sally Hawkins and Keenan-Michael Key.
