Defying societal roles and skeptical men who stand in her way, this pioneering businesswoman revolutionizes the making and marketing of champagne. Director Thomas Napper’s smart, brilliantly acted film is definitely off the beaten path, packing more substance into 90 minutes than most movies do in 2½ hours.
