A Jewish couple sells their Parisian flat’s unused cellar to a former history teacher (François Cluzet), but when the stranger takes up residence, his secret life as an anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist emerges. As the couple struggles to rescind the sale, the buyer befriends their naïve teenage daughter.
