She becomes involved with an American reporter (who, initially, doesn’t realize who she is) and a beautiful relationship develops. This ageless, magical romantic comedy introduced a 24-year-old Audrey Hepburn to delighted moviegoers worldwide. It would win 3 Oscars—Best Actress (Hepburn), Screenplay and Costume Design—and be recognized as the gold standard of this movie genre.
