Samuel Habib, 21, wants to date, leave home, go to college. But he drives a 350-pound wheelchair, uses a communication device, and can have a seizure at any moment. Determined to find his path forward, he seeks out guidance from America’s most rebellious disability activists. Will they empower him to launch the bold adult life he craves?
As a follow-up to hosting the premiere of MY DISABILITY ROADMAP (on 5/14) Red River will offer that 22 minute film by Dan and Samuel Habib in the Simchik Cinema. No admission will be charged, but donations (of any denomination) will be gratefully accepted. The show times will afford our customers a chance to see Dan and Samuel’s film before watching an attraction in the big halls.
Please note that the 3:30 shows for this film will be presented with an audio descriptive track, making it more accessible for patrons who have trouble seeing or following what is happening on screen. This is at the request of the filmmakers, who wish to make their work as inclusive and accessible as possible
