In rural Montana, a recently arrived college professor (Thandiwe Newton) finds herself dealing with unreasonably aggressive behavior from two local hunters (Jefferson White and Joris Jarsky). Subsequent, escalating situations, fueled by gender/racial biases, make her feel irrevocably headed towards a dangerous confrontation. It’s an intense war of wills with Newton terrific as an independent woman strongly challenging the corruption and immorality existing around her.
