Four lifelong friends (Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen), members of a long-established book club, go on a fun trip to Italy to celebrate the upcoming wedding of one of them (Fonda). Terrific up to a point until things go awry, prompting a once-in-a-lifetime cross country adventure. In 2018, BOOK CLUB was a huge box office hit and provided the framework for this “naughty but nice” sequel—with a lot of the original characters returning for some inspired hijinks. Co-starring Andy Garcia, Don Johnson, Craig T. Nelson and Giancarlo Giannini.
