Hollyn Patterson and Colie Moline are seasoned “range riders” spending a last summer together herding cattle in a remote area of Utah. Totally off the grid, they brave inclement weather and perilous working conditions while pondering their futures. Documentarian Emelie Mahdavian’s intimate, deliberately paced portrait of the friendship and upcoming life transitions of these two young women–working on the wondrous landscape of the American West–is memorably achieved.
