Hundreds Of Beavers
2024, 108 min
17th Century, Wisconsin. When diabolical beavers destroy his applejack distillery, Jean Kayak (Ryland Brickson Cole Tews) must learn to survive in a frozen wilderness without shelter or income. Slowly but surely, he becomes a skilled fur trapper—getting revenge on those buck-toothed critters and attempting to earn the hand of a lovely furrier (Olivia Graves). Here’s a brilliantly structured live action LOONEY TUNE, an endlessly inventive love letter to silent comedy. A one-of-a-kind delight by writer/director Mike Cheslik and co-writer Tews, presented in glorious black & white.
Starts Friday, March 1.
It will be presented in the Simchik Cinema. Purchasing tickets in advance for performances in the Simchik is recommended.
