Spring Blossom
2021, 73 minutes, Not Rated
Note: in French with English subtitles.
A shy, bored 16-year-old student (Suzanne Lindon) is an old soul who doesn’t fit in with her peers. But she discovers a purpose to life when she enters into a tender relationship with a shy 35-year-old actor looking for an escape from his stale existence. 20-year-old Lindon is also the writer/director of this refreshing tale of kindred spirits whose fleeting connection isn’t physical. She makes really smart creative choices—providing small moments of intimacy which have a ring of truth to them and a trio of musical numbers delivered with charming style and flair.
SPRING BLOSSOM gets a 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
